The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to make your mark in a dynamic and transforming organisation. Reporting to the newly appointed Head of Compliance and leading a small team, you will drive strategic organisation objectives as follows:
- Compliance Management Framework Implementation: Establish, implement and maintain a robust Compliance Management Framework, including Obligation Management, Process Mapping, Control Management, Incident Management, Breach Identification.
- Compliance Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks, including regulatory, financial, and reputational risks, in collaboration with the Risk Team. Provide guidance on compliant processes.
- Manage Regulatory Change: Monitor and interpret regulatory change, identify and engage relevant stakeholders, manage change to policies/procedures/controls, monitor embedment.
- Leverage Data Analysis : Analyse data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Support Privacy & Data Security: Comply with the business’ privacy and data security requirements and prevent and/or mitigate privacy and data security risk within own work area.
- Collaborate: Work collaboratively to prevent and/or mitigate fraud and corruption risks to the business, including undertaking required training, complying with policies and processes, identifying and reporting suspected fraud and corruption or vulnerabilities and exposure, implementing controls, behaving ethically and promoting a culture of integrity.
To be Successful
With a minimum of 7 years’ experience, you will demonstrate a track record of developing compliance management frameworks and embedding obligations management across complex and highly regulated enterprise environments.
Whilst relevant compliance project delivery and some change management experience would be helpful, no specific industry experience is require for this role.
The right fit is essential however, and we are seeking a dynamic, flexible and accountable person with the ability to blend strategic and hands on work, deal with ambiguity, communicate effectively and build strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
